Network Security Specialist – Banking Infrastructure

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Network Security Specialist to protect and optimise the bank’s network and security infrastructure. The role demands hands‑on expertise with F5, Forcepoint, and Fortinet solutions in a high‑availability, compliance‑driven environment.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and support the bank’s network services, ensuring alignment with policies, timelines, and SLAs.
• Design, implement and configure secure network solutions that meet banking security standards.
• Administer Web Application Firewalls, proxy servers, load balancers and network firewalls, handling configuration, policy enforcement, tuning, upgrades and patching.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, enterprise architecture and delivery teams to deliver secure, fully functional network services.
• Act as a technical SME, lead network initiatives, and ensure compliance with change‑management and operational procedures.
• Provide 24/7 troubleshooting support and mentor team members to raise technical competency.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Network Engineering or related field.
• 5–8+ years of experience in network security and infrastructure operations, preferably in banking or financial services.
• Strong knowledge of ITIL, change management, capacity management and patch management processes.
