Network Security Specialist – F5, Forcepoint & Fortinet

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Network Security Specialist to support our banking clients in Oman. The role focuses on designing, implementing and maintaining secure network infrastructure using F5, Forcepoint and Fortinet technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and support network infrastructure services, ensuring compliance with policies, timelines and SLAs.
• Design, configure and optimise load balancers, firewalls, proxy servers and Web Application Firewalls (WAF) for high availability and performance.
• Perform configuration management, policy enforcement, performance tuning, upgrades, patching and ongoing maintenance of all security and network systems.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, enterprise architecture and delivery teams to deliver secure, fully functional network services.
• Act as a technical Subject Matter Expert (SME) for F5, Forcepoint and Fortinet solutions across departments and branches.
• Lead network‑related initiatives, implementation projects and operational improvement programmes.
• Ensure adherence to ITIL Change Management, Capacity Management, Patch Management and SLA‑driven operations.

Required profile

• Strong hands‑on experience with F5 BIG‑IP LTM & ASM/WAF, Forcepoint Websense/Secure Web Gateway and Fortinet firewalls.
• Proven experience in enterprise or banking network security and infrastructure operations.
• Knowledge of ITIL processes, change and capacity management, and SLA compliance.
• Ability to work onsite with banking clients and coordinate with multiple technical teams.
