Nursing Assistant

About the role

We are seeking a Nursing Assistant to join a healthcare facility in Muscat, Oman. The role involves delivering safe, basic nursing care and supporting residents with physical, cognitive, and functional disabilities under the supervision of a registered nurse.

Key responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living such as bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting and feeding.
• Support nurses in caring for residents with physical and cognitive disabilities.
• Measure and record vital signs (temperature, pulse, respiration, blood pressure) as trained.
• Help with positioning, turning, mobilization and transfer of residents.
• Maintain a clean patient environment, including bed making.
• Provide mobility assistance using wheelchairs, walkers or other devices.
• Follow institutional policies, safeguarding requirements and infection‑prevention protocols.

Required profile

• Verification of qualification, license and experience through Dataflow.
• Successful completion of the MOH Viva examination.
• Immediate availability is preferred.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
