Operation Coordinator – IP

About the role

We are looking for an Operation Coordinator – IP to join DHL Global Forwarding in Muscat. In this role you will support the end‑to‑end movement of air, ocean and road shipments, ensuring smooth coordination between carriers, ports, customs and internal teams.

Key responsibilities

• Follow up with carriers, ports and overseas DHL offices to monitor shipment status.
• Track and route air, ocean and road shipments using tracking systems.
• Coordinate liners, ports, customs clearance and delivery schedules.
• Handle shipping documentation such as Bill of Lading, Air Waybill, commercial invoices, packing lists and customs paperwork.
• Update customers on shipment status and provide regular reports.
• Manage exceptions, delays and operational issues, coordinating with warehouses, transporters and site teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Less than 2 years of experience in freight forwarding or logistics.
• Strong communication and customer service abilities.
• Good problem‑solving, multitasking and planning skills.

Required skills

• Knowledge of freight forwarding processes (air, ocean, road, project cargo).
• Familiarity with customs compliance and shipping documentation.
• Experience with shipment tracking systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
