Operations Engineer (Omani Nationals)

About the role

The Operations Engineer will act as the primary liaison between Tuboscope, customers/JV and suppliers, ensuring efficient project execution, quality compliance and customer satisfaction. The role combines inventory, production, supply‑chain and financial reporting responsibilities within the oil & gas sector.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as Tuboscope’s primary representative in‑country for its products and manage communications with customers/JV.
• Coordinate technical, commercial, quality and operational matters for ongoing projects, including purchase order monitoring and delivery scheduling.
• Oversee inventory levels, production output, material forecasting and spare‑parts logistics, using JDE for inventory records.
• Prepare and manage accruals, COGS reporting, monthly revenue flash reports and revenue forecasts.
• Support internal financial reporting, business reviews and assist sales teams during SOX audit and compliance activities.
• Perform material receiving inspections, manage QA/QC documentation, raise MOC, QAR and CAR for non‑conformances and maintain the Quality Management System.

Required profile

• Engineering graduate with at least 3 years of experience in oil & gas operations, drilling rigs/hoist operations and industrial plant production.
• OCTG inspector Level‑1 certification, PDO HSE and a valid driving licence.
• Strong command of spoken and written English.
