Packing Machine Technician (Biscuits)

About the role

We are looking for experienced Packing Machine Technicians to join our biscuit production facility in Oman. The role involves operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting automated biscuit packaging lines to ensure continuous, high‑quality output.

Key responsibilities

• Operate, monitor and maintain biscuit packing machines and automated packaging lines.
• Perform preventive, predictive and breakdown maintenance on mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and control systems.
• Diagnose and resolve faults in PLC‑controlled equipment.
• Set up, adjust and calibrate machines for various product sizes and packaging formats.
• Inspect finished goods to verify packaging quality and compliance with standards.
• Coordinate with production, quality and maintenance teams to meet production targets.
• Maintain daily maintenance records, machine logs and production reports.
• Follow GMP, HACCP, food safety, hygiene and HSE regulations.

Required profile

• Degree, Diploma or ITI in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Industrial Maintenance or a related field.
• Mandatory experience in packing machine operation and maintenance within the FMCG biscuits industry.
• Gulf region experience preferred.
• Ability to work 12‑hour shifts, six days a week.
