Pharmacist (Omani National)

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Pharmacist who is an Omani national to join our pharmacy team. The role focuses on delivering safe, accurate pharmaceutical care while providing excellent customer service and supporting the overall performance of the branch.

Key responsibilities

• Dispense prescription medicines accurately and recommend appropriate over‑the‑counter products.
• Provide patient counseling on proper use of medicines, medical devices, and healthcare products.
• Achieve sales, customer service and operational KPIs by promoting campaigns, loyalty programs and incentives.
• Ensure full compliance with Ministry of Health regulations, company SOPs and professional standards.
• Manage inventory: maintain stock levels, control expiries, ensure pricing accuracy and report shortages.
• Process cash, insurance and credit transactions, receive and arrange products, and participate in stock counts.
• Maintain a clean, professional pharmacy environment and report operational issues promptly.
• Participate in training, promotional activities and continuous improvement projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy.
• Valid MOH Pharmacist License or eligibility to obtain one.
• Minimum 1–2 years of community pharmacy experience (preferred).
• Good knowledge of pharmacy retail operations and OTC products.

Required skills

• Knowledge of MOH regulations and pharmacy SOPs.
• Inventory management and stock control.
• Cash handling and transaction processing.
• Customer service and patient counseling.
