Pharmacist (Permanent)

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Pharmacist to join our team in Oman on a permanent basis. The role involves ensuring safe and accurate dispensing of medications while providing professional guidance to patients.

Key responsibilities

• Dispense prescription medications accurately in line with physician orders.
• Review prescriptions for correct dosage, drug interactions, contraindications and allergies.
• Provide patients with clear instructions on medication usage, dosage, precautions and possible side effects.
• Maintain accurate records of prescriptions, dispensing activities and inventory.
• Monitor pharmaceutical stock, manage ordering, storage and expiry‑date checks.
• Ensure compliance with Oman Ministry of Health regulations and pharmacy standards.
• Handle, store and dispose of medicines and controlled substances safely.
• Coordinate with doctors, nurses and other healthcare professionals on medication matters.
• Maintain a clean, organized and professional pharmacy environment.
• Offer guidance and customer service to patients regarding medications and health products.

Required profile

• Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm) or equivalent.
• Valid Oman Ministry of Health Pharmacist License (mandatory).
• Relevant experience in a hospital, clinic, community pharmacy or similar healthcare setting (preferred).
• Good knowledge of pharmaceutical practices, medication safety and dispensing procedures.
