Product Manager – People and Services

About the role

Oman Air seeks a Product Manager to develop and implement human resource and enterprise service digital solutions that enhance operational efficiency and improve end‑user experience, aligning with the airline’s digital strategy and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with end‑user departments to gather business needs, translate them into technical specifications, and communicate requirements to development teams or vendors.
• Lead end‑to‑end product development lifecycle, from requirements identification through testing, implementation, and handover, ensuring timely and on‑budget delivery.
• Define objectives, KPIs, and targets for digital products, monitor performance, and drive continuous improvements.
• Manage stakeholder relationships, including vendors, end users, and development teams, facilitating communication and consensus.
• Evaluate existing products, recommend enhancements, and assess new technologies for strategic fit, budget, and resource impact.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree with at least 8 years of relevant experience, or a diploma with 10 years of experience.
• Minimum 3 years of product management experience in the HR and ERP domain.
• Proficiency in English (written and verbal) and MS Office.
• Preferred certifications: CSPO, PSPO, CPM, POPM or PMP.

Required skills

• Experience with HCM and ERP systems (payroll, benefits, talent management, performance management).
• Strong knowledge of ERP platforms such as SAP, Oracle, or PeopleSoft.
• Familiarity with SQL, BI tools, data‑warehousing concepts, and cloud‑based SaaS platforms.
• Hands‑on experience with agile methodologies and tools like Scrum, Kanban, and Jira.
