Program Manager – National Fintech Strategy

About the role

The Program Manager will lead the implementation of Oman’s National Fintech Strategy, coordinating across government entities, regulators and external partners. This role provides a central PMO function to ensure initiatives are delivered on time, within scope and according to governance standards.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate implementation and execution of the strategy across all stakeholders, translating objectives into workplans, timelines and ownership assignments.
• Develop and maintain an integrated implementation roadmap and a consolidated portfolio of initiatives, ensuring clear ownership, milestones, KPIs and dependencies.
• Monitor progress against milestones, establish tracking mechanisms, and promptly escalate delivery concerns with corrective recommendations.
• Track and report on KPIs, maintaining a real‑time dashboard and analysing performance trends for senior leadership.
• Prepare executive dashboards, progress reports and briefing materials, and support governance processes such as steering‑committee meetings.
• Facilitate stakeholder communication, manage risks and issues, and maintain a live risk register with mitigation plans.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Finance, Public Administration or related field; Master’s degree is a plus.
• Minimum 6–8 years of experience in project or programme management, preferably supporting national strategies, government taskforces or large‑scale multi‑stakeholder transformation programmes.
