Project Manager – Large Scale Projects

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to join a leading project‑management consultancy in Oman. The successful candidate will oversee the design and delivery of a large‑scale, multidisciplinary project from inception to completion, ensuring it meets client expectations, budget, schedule and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage the delivery of major projects, aligning with client objectives, contractual obligations and financial targets.
• Develop execution, quality and delivery plans, monitor progress and report status.
• Coordinate with clients, internal teams, sub‑consultants and contractors to ensure smooth delivery and compliance with authority requirements.
• Support procurement activities, including sub‑consultant appointments and contract management.
• Maintain project risk registers and implement mitigation strategies.
• Oversee design coordination, change management processes and approvals.
• Participate in client, technical and coordination meetings.
• Promote a culture of quality, innovation and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Minimum 12 years of experience delivering large‑scale, multidisciplinary design and construction projects.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• At least 10 years working in the building sector on major developments.
• Previous experience with reputable consultancies or contractors.
• Proven leadership, communication and stakeholder‑management abilities.
