Project Manager / Senior Hydrogeologist

About the role

Andam International is seeking a commercially aware senior hydrogeologist to lead projects from planning through field execution, data interpretation, reporting and financial close‑out across Oman and the wider GCC.

Key responsibilities

• Manage hydrogeological projects in Oman and across the GCC, ensuring delivery on time and within budget.
• Plan, coordinate and supervise fieldwork programmes, including drilling, testing, monitoring and sampling.
• Oversee the collection, validation, organization and interpretation of hydrogeological data from internal teams and subcontractors.
• Develop project‑specific data‑collection and data‑management plans.
• Evaluate groundwater resources, water‑resource systems and brine‑based resources.
• Provide technical direction to hydrogeologists, field personnel and project teams.
• Prepare and review technical reports, assessments, presentations and client deliverables.
• Monitor project risks, costs, progress and resource requirements, and report financial performance to the Managing Director.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Geology, Earth Sciences, Environmental Science, Water Resources or a related discipline.
• Post‑graduate qualification in Hydrogeology or a related field.
• Approximately 10 years of relevant professional experience, including managing hydrogeological investigations and fieldwork programmes.
• Experience working in Oman, the Middle East or the wider GCC is preferred.
