Public Relations Officer (PRO) – Salalah, Oman

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic Public Relations Officer (PRO) to join our client’s team in Salalah, Oman. The role combines government liaison, employee documentation, recruitment and day‑to‑day HR operations, ensuring full compliance with Omani labour and immigration regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Process and manage employment visas, labour clearances, residence permits and renewals.
• Liaise with Ministry of Labour, Immigration, Municipality and other government bodies.
• Handle company licence renewals, permits, registrations and related legal documentation.
• Maintain accurate records of employee visas, labour cards and statutory documents.
• Ensure timely renewal of all company and employee‑related documents.
• Stay updated on changes to Omani labour and immigration laws.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience as a PRO, HR Executive or similar role in Oman.
• Prior exposure to footwear manufacturing or recycling industry is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Omani labour laws, visa processing and government procedures.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks independently.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
