Purchase Executive

About the role

National Biscuits is seeking a Purchase Executive to lead procurement activities for its FMCG operations in Muscat. The role focuses on sourcing, vendor management and ensuring smooth import and logistics processes.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end procurement activities, including sourcing and purchasing of raw materials.
• Maintain and develop relationships with vendors, negotiate terms and monitor performance.
• Develop procurement plans aligned with production schedules and demand forecasts.
• Ensure compliance with Omani import regulations and coordinate customs documentation.
• Oversee logistical arrangements to guarantee timely delivery of goods.
• Collaborate with internal teams to align purchasing with operational needs.

Required profile

• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in procurement or purchasing.
• Proven experience in vendor management and sourcing.
• Understanding of procurement planning and import regulations.
• Familiarity with logistical operations and supply‑chain coordination.
• Strong communication and coordination abilities.
