QA/QC Engineer – Renewable Energy & Construction Quality

About the role

SEGULA Technologies Middle East is looking for an experienced QA/QC Engineer to lead construction‑quality surveillance on major renewable‑energy and power‑infrastructure projects in Duqm, Oman. The position is a 16‑month fixed‑term contract starting January 2027, focused on ensuring that all construction activities meet the highest quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and monitor project QA/QC requirements.
• Review and control Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs).
• Participate in hold and witness‑point inspections.
• Conduct quality surveillance of construction activities.
• Manage and monitor Non‑Conformance Reports (NCRs).
• Maintain quality registers and inspection records.
• Review contractor quality documentation.
• Monitor corrective and preventive actions.
• Coordinate inspections with engineering and construction teams.
• Support testing, completion and hand‑over activities.
• Prepare quality reports and maintain project records.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of QA/QC experience in construction or large‑scale industrial projects.
• Experience in renewable‑energy, power or infrastructure projects is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of ITPs, NCR management and inspection processes.
• ISO 9001 Lead Auditor certification is preferred.
• Excellent technical documentation and reporting skills.
