Reservations Agent – Luxury Resort

About the role

The Reservations Agent is the first point of contact for guests seeking accommodation at Anantara Al Jabal Al Akhdar Resort. You will manage inbound reservation calls, process room and group bookings, and support the hotel’s sales initiatives while delivering a professional and caring service.

Key responsibilities

• Answer all incoming reservation calls in line with hotel standards.
• Process room and group reservations accurately using the Opera (or equivalent) system.
• Maintain up‑to‑date guest profiles and ensure rate structures and promotions are applied correctly.
• Confirm all reservations and special requests within 24 hours.
• Monitor and update rates and availability on CRS and other extranets multiple times daily.
• Promote up‑sells, cross‑sells and identify sales leads.
• Prepare and file daily paperwork, manage fax correspondence, and ensure proper documentation.
• Assist the Reservations Manager with weekly and monthly reporting.
• Adhere to the hotel’s credit policy and guarantee procedures.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Opera PMS (or similar property management system).
• Experience using a Central Reservation System (CRS) and managing online distribution channels.
• Knowledge of rate management, promotions, and hotel credit policies.
