Retail Sales Associate – Marine Products

About the role

The Sales Associate will deliver an excellent in‑store experience for customers interested in marine and leisure products, while supporting the store’s sales objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Greet customers, identify their needs and preferences, provide product information and recommend suitable marine and leisure items.
• Achieve individual and store‑level sales targets through upselling, cross‑selling and meeting daily, weekly and monthly KPIs.
• Maintain visual merchandising standards, keep the store and fitting rooms clean, organized and well stocked, and handle stock receipt, price tagging and inventory audits.
• Operate the POS system efficiently, process sales, returns and exchanges accurately, and manage cash and card transactions in line with company policies.
• Participate in team meetings, sales huddles and product knowledge sessions, and communicate customer feedback or operational issues to the Store Manager.

Required profile

• Previous retail sales or customer‑service experience, preferably in a premium marine, sports or lifestyle environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a proactive, results‑driven attitude.
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends, public holidays and varied hours.
• Fluency in English; additional language skills are an advantage.
