Risk and Compliance Intern

About the role

The Risk and Compliance Intern will support the Risk & Compliance team in daily risk management, compliance monitoring and reporting activities. This position offers practical exposure to corporate governance, risk assessment, regulatory compliance and internal control processes while contributing to departmental initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Support updating the Risk Register and follow up on risk mitigation actions.
• Assist with compliance monitoring, reviews and awareness activities.
• Conduct third‑party due diligence checks.
• Maintain Risk & Compliance records and documentation.

Required profile

• Fresh graduate with a Bachelor’s degree in Law, Economics, Risk Management or a related field.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and research abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; Arabic is a plus.
• High attention to detail, confidentiality and ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Demonstrated integrity, professionalism and ethical conduct.
• Eagerness to learn about corporate governance, risk management and compliance.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
