About the role
We are seeking a Safety Officer for our dockyard client in Oman. The role involves ensuring compliance with health, safety and environmental standards, supporting safe operations and continuous improvement.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct regular safety inspections of facilities and equipment.
- Perform comprehensive risk assessments for ongoing projects.
- Develop and deliver safety training sessions for staff.
- Lead investigations of incidents and near‑misses.
- Maintain accurate HSE records and reports.
Required profile
- Demonstrated experience in safety roles within marine, dockyard or industrial settings.
- Relevant certifications such as NEBOSH or IOSH are preferred.
