Sales Coordinator

About the role

The Sales Coordinator supports the sales team in achieving targets, ensuring smooth order processing and high‑quality customer interactions. This role combines administrative duties, reporting, and cross‑department coordination to boost sales productivity.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the sales team by preparing quotations, following up on pending and standing orders, and handling short‑delivery and out‑of‑stock issues.
• Generate accurate daily reports and analytics using company‑provided business intelligence tools.
• Maintain up‑to‑date sales support material and ensure compliance with HACCP and ISO procedures.
• Coordinate sales meetings, export documentation, and liaise with internal departments to guarantee order satisfaction.
• Provide customers with delivery updates, alternative product options, and promotional offers as directed by sales staff.
• Perform general administrative tasks, including filing, record‑keeping, and attending training sessions.

Required profile

• College or university diploma with at least 3‑4 years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, and familiarity with standard office equipment.
• Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and demonstrate strong organization and secretarial capabilities.
• Excellent telephone, interpersonal, and customer‑service skills, with a willingness to step beyond the defined role when needed.
