Sales Manager / Sales Officer

About the role

We are seeking a proactive and commercially driven Sales Manager / Sales Officer to support sales growth, business development, and customer relationship management. The role focuses on identifying opportunities, developing new clients, handling enquiries and quotations, and maintaining an accurate sales pipeline.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities and potential clients.
• Manage client enquiries, meetings, follow‑ups, quotations and commercial discussions.
• Maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers.
• Track leads, RFQs, quotations, opportunities and order status using CRM and sales tracking tools.
• Coordinate with technical, operations, procurement and commercial teams to develop proposals and quotations.
• Monitor tender portals, market opportunities and upcoming customer requirements.
• Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, conversion status and business development updates.
• Support negotiations from offer submission through to order award and assist management in developing sales strategies and market expansion initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in sales and business development, preferably within technical services, marine, offshore, industrial or engineering sectors.
• Strong communication, negotiation and client relationship skills.
• Good commercial understanding with ability to coordinate quotations and proposals.
• Organised and disciplined in CRM, pipeline tracking, reporting and customer follow‑up.
• Self‑motivated, target‑driven and comfortable developing new customers and markets.
• Experience in the marine industry is an advantage.
