Sanitaryware Showroom Manager

About the role

An experienced Sanitaryware Showroom Manager is sought, with strong technical knowledge, excellent sales skills and proven experience in showroom management and supplier coordination.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily showroom operations and lead the sales team.
• Develop sales strategies to increase retail and project sales.
• Build relationships with customers, contractors, consultants and developers.
• Provide technical advice and recommend suitable sanitaryware products.
• Prepare quotations, negotiate prices and follow up with customers to close sales.
• Negotiate with local and international suppliers on pricing, availability, orders and delivery, and follow up on purchase orders and shipments.
• Monitor stock levels, product displays and showroom performance.
• Identify new business opportunities and achieve sales targets.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering preferred, or a related qualification with strong industry experience.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in sanitaryware sales, preferably in a showroom management or senior sales position.
• Good understanding of plumbing systems, installation requirements and technical specifications.
• Experience with local and international sanitaryware suppliers; previous experience in the Oman market is highly preferred.
• Previous experience in the Oman sanitaryware market is highly preferred.

Required skills

• Strong technical knowledge of toilets, washbasins, faucets, shower systems, concealed cisterns and bathroom accessories.
• Ability to read technical drawings, product catalogs and specification sheets.
• Excellent sales, negotiation, customer follow-up and closing skills.
• Leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Good command of Arabic and English.
