Secondary Math Teacher

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Secondary Mathematics Teacher to join Sarh Al Jaameah Private School in Muscat. The successful candidate will deliver engaging, student‑centered lessons aligned with the Cambridge International Curriculum for secondary students.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver mathematics lessons that meet Cambridge curriculum standards.
• Differentiate instruction to accommodate diverse learning needs.
• Assess student progress, provide timely feedback and maintain accurate academic records.
• Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages critical thinking.
• Communicate regularly with parents/guardians and collaborate with colleagues.
• Participate in team meetings, contribute to curriculum development and support school activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mathematics or Mathematics Education.
• Teaching certification and relevant secondary‑level teaching experience.
• Proven experience with the Cambridge Secondary Mathematics curriculum and preparing students for the IGCSE Mathematics exam.
• Strong classroom management, organizational and time‑management abilities.
• Commitment to inclusive, student‑centered teaching and ongoing professional development.
