Senior Accountant & Odoo Implementer

About the role

Sohar Window Trading is seeking a Senior Accountant who also has hands‑on experience with Odoo ERP. The role combines traditional accounting responsibilities with system optimisation and user training.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the enhancement, optimisation, and administration of Odoo across Accounting, Sales, CRM, Inventory, Projects, and HR modules.
• Oversee day‑to‑day accounting operations and produce accurate, timely financial reports.
• Manage revenue accounting, bank and account reconciliations, fixed assets, and accounts payable/receivable.
• Prepare and file VAT returns in compliance with Oman Tax Authority regulations.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to inform management decisions.
• Train staff on Odoo and provide ongoing support for daily system use.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
• At least 5 years of accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of accounting standards, preferably IFRS.
• Proven track record implementing and using Odoo ERP.
• Good understanding of Oman VAT requirements.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to train non‑technical users.
