Senior Category Manager

About the role

Talabat is seeking a Senior Category Manager to drive growth of its cloud‑store concept, tMart, across the Middle East and North Africa. You will own pricing, assortment and profitability for a fast‑growing grocery portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain country‑specific pricing strategies, pricing matrices and testing frameworks.
• Identify target competitors, conduct retail audits and set SKU/brand limits per category.
• Produce performance reports covering GMROI, low‑performing items, cohort analysis and CSAT scores.
• Perform regular category rationalisation, close‑out under‑performing items and expand high‑potential assortments.
• Lead negotiations with suppliers, commercial agreements and supplier business reviews.
• Collaborate with regional commercial, marketing and price‑scraping teams to launch promotions, assess ROI and ensure compliance with pricing tools.
• Support the creation of marketing assets and campaigns to acquire and retain customers.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years experience managing multiple product categories for large FMCG retailers.
• Proven track record in an international, multi‑country environment.
• Experience building and leading cross‑functional teams.
