Senior Civil Engineer – EPC Substation & Transmission

About the role

We are seeking a result‑driven Senior Civil Engineer with 7–10 years of experience in EPC execution of high‑voltage substations (AIS/GIS) and overhead transmission line projects. The role offers end‑to‑end responsibility for civil works, from site mobilization through testing and handover, ensuring projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and to quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead civil works execution for EHV substations and OHL projects under EPC contracts.
• Manage the full project lifecycle: site mobilization, construction, testing, and handover.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to align with EPC schedules and client milestones.
• Supervise multiple subcontractors delivering foundations, control rooms, switchyard structures, gantries, tower foundations, roads, drainage, and fencing.
• Monitor contractor productivity, quality, and compliance, approving methodologies and resource deployment.
• Control costs and ensure adherence to budgetary constraints.

Required profile

• 7–10 years of proven experience in EPC civil works for substations and transmission lines.
• Strong background in contractor management and cost control.
• Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary engineering and procurement teams.
• Result‑oriented mindset with a focus on delivering projects on time and within budget.
