About the role
Hapag-Lloyd Oman is seeking an experienced Senior Coordinator Business Development to strengthen its customer portfolio and promote digital shipping solutions. Based in Muscat, you will work closely with the sales team and internal stakeholders to drive revenue growth and enhance the customer experience.
Key responsibilities
- Develop small‑to‑medium customer accounts, increasing volume and revenue while promoting digital products.
- Prepare and conduct calls, generate leads in Salesforce, and nurture business opportunities.
- Manage case information and keep Salesforce data up to date.
- Provide market feedback on rates, competitor activity, and trends to support strategic decisions.
- Build strong internal relationships to improve overall customer experience.
- Prepare rate quotations, filter requests, and optimize vessel utilization for profitability.
- Follow up on customer inquiries, pricing approvals, and free‑time requests.
- Complete administrative tasks such as RA filing, FMC filing, and handover to Customer Service when needed.
Required profile
- University degree or equivalent.
- High proficiency in written and spoken English.
- Strong teamwork orientation and positive attitude.
- Self‑motivated with a willingness to learn and develop.
