Senior Cost Estimation & Cost Control Expert

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Cost Estimation & Cost Control Expert to lead CAPEX and OPEX budgeting, forecasting and cost management for utility‑scale renewable energy and infrastructure projects across Oman and the GCC.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review detailed CAPEX and OPEX estimates for solar PV, wind, BESS, hybrid systems and related EPC packages, develop cost baselines and budgets.
• Monitor project expenditures against budgets, analyse variances, produce monthly cost forecasts, cash‑flow projections and cost‑to‑complete reports.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, finance, legal and project teams to align cost estimates with scope and contractual obligations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or related field.
• Minimum 8 years of cost estimation and control experience, at least 5 years on utility‑scale renewable energy projects.
• Strong analytical, numerical and communication skills; fluent English.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel for cost modelling and sensitivity analysis.
• Primavera P6 or MS Project for schedule integration.
• ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle.
• Power BI for dashboard reporting.
