Senior Cost Estimation Engineer

About the role

Worley is seeking a Senior Cost Estimation Engineer to develop and review cost estimates for off‑plot oil, water disposal, gas well hook‑ups, flowlines, trunk lines, MSV construction, OHL, wellpads and access roads. The role supports business planning, contract compensation and ensures accurate quantity verification based on drawings and benchmarks.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare cost estimates for off‑plot projects such as oil, water disposal, gas well hook‑ups, flowlines, trunk lines, MSV construction, OHL, wellpads and access roads, using benchmarks, quotations and estimating tools.
• Review cost estimates for both major and minor projects to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Create cost estimates that support the development of business plans.
• Review rates and activities before issuing cost estimates or work releases based on contract compensation terms.
• Verify quantities in work releases against available drawings.
• Assist contract engineers in preparing compensation packages for new contracts.
