Senior Environmental Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Environmental Specialist to join our multidisciplinary consulting team. The role combines technical expertise in environmental engineering, ecological conservation, and geospatial analysis to deliver compliant, high‑quality solutions for our clients across the GCC.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA), Environmental Management Plans (EMP) and performance reports in line with regional and international regulations.
• Plan and conduct terrestrial and marine field surveys, assessing wildlife habitats, biodiversity and sensitive ecosystems.
• Produce baseline maps, habitat classifications and land‑use analyses using GIS and remote‑sensing platforms.
• Collaborate with project teams and clients to ensure timely delivery of technical deliverables.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Natural Resources Management, Environmental Science or related field (Master’s a plus).
• Membership with the Oman Society of Engineers.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in environmental consulting or engineering within the GCC.
• Proven track record in EIA studies, biodiversity monitoring and ecological baseline assessments.
• Strong physical fitness for rigorous outdoor investigations.
• Fluent English (written and spoken); Arabic is an advantage.
