Senior Executive – Indirect Tax (VAT)

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Senior Executive to join our Indirect Tax (VAT) practice. You will work closely with senior managers and clients, supporting VAT compliance, audits, and advisory services across the GCC region.

Key responsibilities

• Build strong internal relationships within the VAT practice, indirect tax, and other service lines.
• Assist in managing multiple client engagements and report to managers.
• Train and lead junior staff members.
• Develop and maintain effective client relationships.
• Stay updated on local and national business, economic, and tax developments.
• Support business development activities by researching new opportunities.
• Help managers create project plans and meet deadlines.

Required profile

• 0‑3 years of experience in VAT/Indirect Taxes.
• ACC​A part‑qualified with at least 10 papers completed; affiliation with Bahrain, KSA, UAE, or India GST/VAT experience.
• Big 4 experience preferred.
• Willingness to travel within GCC countries.
• Excellent English communication skills; Arabic optional.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of GST/VAT compliance and return preparation.
• Experience handling GST/VAT audits and litigation.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
