Senior LNG Process Trainer

About the role

We are looking for a senior trainer with extensive operational and maintenance experience in LNG facilities to design, coordinate and deliver a 12‑month on‑the‑job training programme for 30 trainees across three discipline groups.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, schedule and supervise the full training curriculum, covering utilities, hot and cold sections, storage & loading, electrical, instrumentation, mechanical PVV and rotating equipment.
• Coordinate trainee rotations with OLNG shift supervisors and secure plant access, equipment and floor time for each module.
• Perform competency gap analysis, develop Individual Development Plans and monitor multi‑skilling outcomes.
• Deliver hands‑on coaching, competency assessments and structured performance feedback throughout each rotation.
• Promote a safety‑first culture by integrating HSE, risk identification and Job Safety Analysis into every session.
• Maintain audit‑ready training records, attendance logs and completion documentation for all participants.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Instrumentation, Mechanical or Process/Chemical Engineering.
• Recognised Train‑the‑Trainer, instructional design or competency assessor certification (OPITO standards preferred).
• 15+ years of hands‑on operations/maintenance in an LNG plant, including at least 5 years as a senior OJT trainer or competency assessor.
• Proven experience leading multi‑discipline training programmes on start‑up or first‑of‑a‑kind LNG projects.
