Senior Multi‑Discipline Designer – Oman (Various Specialties)

About the role

Wood is seeking senior designers across multiple disciplines to support the growth of its Omani operations. The positions are based in Muscat and focus on delivering engineering solutions for both brownfield and greenfield oil and gas projects.

Key responsibilities

• Lead design activities for process, piping, mechanical, civil, pipeline, electrical, and instrumentation disciplines.
• Develop detailed engineering deliverables for onshore oil and gas projects.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to translate market needs into technical solutions.
• Support Front End Engineering Design (FEED) studies and ensure compliance with project standards.

Required profile

• Minimum 15 years of experience in relevant engineering projects.
• Diploma or certification in a related engineering field.
• At least 8 years of oil & gas piping design experience, including 3 years with ACAD or 3D PDMS.
• Minimum 5 years of FEED or engineering design experience.

Required skills

• Proficiency in ACAD.
• Proficiency in 3D PDMS.
• Oil & gas piping design expertise.
• Front End Engineering Design (FEED) knowledge.
