Senior Project Engineer – Energy Projects (Oman)

About the role

The Senior Project Engineer will provide senior project engineering, technical coordination and project management support for a major energy project in Oman. The role ensures that design‑and‑build contractors deliver engineering activities in line with approved specifications, schedules, quality standards and project objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering activities across architectural, civil, structural, MEP and infrastructure disciplines.
• Review technical submissions, drawings, specifications, method statements and other project documentation.
• Monitor contractor technical and project‑management deliverables, highlighting delays and risks.
• Support resolution of RFIs, technical queries, design coordination issues and clarifications.
• Assess design changes for impacts on scope, cost, schedule, quality and constructability.
• Participate in technical and project coordination meetings and support procurement‑related technical matters.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of experience in real‑estate or infrastructure project engineering and management.
• At least 6 years of experience on major projects in the Middle East.
• Proven experience coordinating multidisciplinary design and construction activities with major contractors and consultants.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
