Senior Specialist – Employee & Industrial Relations

About the role

The Senior Specialist in Employee Relations (ER) and Industrial Relations (IR) provides end‑to‑end support for ER/IR matters across the RPI business unit. Acting as the focal point, the role ensures compliance with Omani labour law, drives cultural transformation initiatives and supports the implementation of LEAN and digitalisation projects aligned with Oman 2040.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and monitor all assigned ER/IR tasks, projects and programmes, reporting progress and resolving bottlenecks.
• Ensure all actions adhere to Omani law, company policies and RPI strategic priorities.
• Develop and update core ER processes and contribute to IR service‑excellence solutions.
• Prepare employee‑relations strategies, implement local labour‑law requirements and propose proactive recommendations.
• Support leaders in dispute, grievance and disciplinary case resolution.
• Participate in employee‑relations programmes, staff surveys, analysis and action‑plan tracking.
• Research ER/IR cases to identify trends and provide insights for mitigation.

Required profile

• Senior‑level professional with extensive experience in employee and industrial relations.
• In‑depth knowledge of Omani labour legislation and its application in a corporate setting.
• Proven ability to work across multiple functions, manage projects and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
• Analytical mindset to monitor trends, prepare reports and recommend improvements.
