Service Technician – Earth Moving

About the role

We are seeking a Service Technician specialized in earth moving equipment to maintain, repair and support heavy machinery such as excavators, bulldozers and skid steer loaders. The role involves on‑site fault handling, warehouse order processing and ensuring safe, compliant service delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose, adjust, repair or overhaul mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic components of earth‑moving equipment.
• Perform periodic maintenance on excavators, bulldozers, skid steer loaders and other heavy machinery.
• Test equipment after repair or assembly to verify proper operation and compliance.
• Provide technical support to customers, maintaining strong client relations.
• Ensure all work follows safety regulations and procedures.
• Respond rapidly to on‑site service calls and handle field service faults.
• Manage central warehouse order processing and coordinate distribution plans.
• Oversee regional spare parts sales, payments and inventory, including receiving inspections of new machines.
• Organize spare parts shipping, quality assurance and management of used parts.
• Collect and inspect service data and manage vehicle inventory.

Required profile

• Graduate or college diploma, preferably in Automotive.
• 1–3 years of experience in the heavy‑equipment service industry.
• Experience with engineering machinery such as excavators, bulldozers or skid steer loaders is preferred.
• Proficiency in English; Arabic is an advantage.
• Valid Oman driving licence.
