Site Architect

About the role

Parsons is looking for a proactive Site Architect to lead architectural works on construction sites, ensure compliance with design intent and codes, and coordinate multidisciplinary teams for high‑quality project delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor architectural works on site, ensuring adherence to approved drawings, specifications and quality standards.
• Review and endorse shop drawings, material submittals, method statements and mock‑ups for architectural elements and finishes.
• Coordinate interfaces between architectural, structural, MEP, façade and landscape disciplines to resolve clashes and maintain design integrity.
• Conduct inspections, manage RFIs, NCRs and corrective actions, and oversee finishes, façade systems, waterproofing, fire‑stopping and acoustic details.
• Maintain site records, prepare daily/weekly progress reports and dashboards, and lead snagging, punch‑list and hand‑over documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture.
• Minimum 10 years of site‑based architectural experience on residential, commercial, mixed‑use or institutional projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, architectural detailing, finishes and façade systems.
• Solid understanding of QA/QC procedures, building codes, fire and life‑safety, and accessibility standards.

Required skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Familiarity with Revit/BIM.
• Strong skills in Microsoft Office and document review tools such as Bluebeam.
• Ability to review shop drawings, submittals and method statements and perform site inspections.
