Sourcing Manager – China & Global Markets

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Sourcing Manager (China & Global Markets) to lead sourcing and procurement activities for machinery, equipment, structural components, and related products. The role will focus on identifying reliable international suppliers, particularly in China, negotiating competitive commercial terms, ensuring quality, and managing end‑to‑end sourcing activities.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate and develop reliable suppliers across China and other global markets.
• Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans aligned with business objectives.
• Negotiate pricing, contracts, payment terms and delivery schedules with international suppliers.
• Manage end‑to‑end sourcing from supplier identification and purchase orders through final delivery.
• Coordinate with engineering, logistics, operations, finance and quality teams to ensure timely procurement.
• Monitor supplier performance, delivery timelines, quality and commercial terms.
• Identify cost‑saving opportunities through negotiations, alternate vendors and process improvements.
• Maintain accurate supplier records, sourcing documentation, contracts and performance reports.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Procurement or a related field.
• 5–7 years of experience in sourcing, procurement or supply chain management.
• 3–5 years of hands‑on experience sourcing machinery, equipment or structural components from China and other international markets.
• Strong knowledge of the Chinese supplier and manufacturing ecosystem.
• Excellent English communication skills; Mandarin proficiency is a significant advantage.
• Willingness to travel internationally on an as‑needed basis.
