Supervisor Drilling Field – Day Shift

About the role

The Supervisor Drilling Field (Day Shift) is responsible for overseeing safe and efficient well drilling activities on Block 60 Field (Abu Tubul), Oman. The role supports drilling engineers, handles operational challenges, and ensures compliance with HSE and company standards.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical input during HSE emergencies or well‑control events and act as the Well Delivery representative in emergency response plans.
• Implement the Well Delivery HSSE annual plan, ensure compliance with OQ HSSE requirements, and participate in incident investigations.
• Execute daily drilling, casing, cementing, well‑integrity, petrophysical and geological data acquisition, fluid‑system management, and remedial operations.
• Select and optimise bottom‑hole assembly tools, monitor equipment controls, and maintain well control throughout drilling operations.

Required profile

• Supervisory experience in well drilling operations, preferably in upstream oil & gas.
• Strong knowledge of HSE standards, emergency response procedures, and well‑control principles.
• Ability to support drilling engineers, provide technical guidance, and manage field teams effectively.
