System Administrator

About the role

Global Modern Quality is seeking a full‑time System Administrator to join its IT team in Muscat. The role involves installing, configuring and maintaining servers, operating systems and critical business applications while ensuring a stable, secure and efficient IT environment.

Key responsibilities

• Install, configure and maintain servers, operating systems and business‑critical applications.
• Monitor system performance, manage backups and apply updates and patches.
• Resolve technical issues in coordination with internal stakeholders.
• Administer network components and support end‑users with technical inquiries.
• Enforce security policies and document system changes and procedures.
• Manage and maintain platform data, verify user registrations and documents.
• Update and monitor records within the platform and prepare operational reports.
• Coordinate with business partners, users and the management team to support daily operations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations, IT or a related field.
• Fresh graduate or recent graduate.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Capable of managing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
