Team Leader – IT Infrastructure & Cloud

About the role

The Team Leader – IT Infrastructure & Cloud is responsible for governing the enterprise IT infrastructure, network and service‑desk functions. The role ensures secure, reliable and high‑performing services across on‑premises, cloud and hybrid environments while driving availability, scalability and disaster‑recovery readiness.

Key responsibilities

• Lead architecture, design and operation of enterprise infrastructure across on‑premises, cloud and hybrid environments, ensuring scalability, security and high availability.
• Oversee identity and access management (Active Directory, Azure AD/Entra ID) and enforce compliant access controls.
• Manage virtualization and data‑center technologies (VMware), including capacity planning, lifecycle management and performance optimisation.
• Ensure robust backup, recovery and disaster‑recovery capabilities meeting RPO/RTO targets and conduct regular testing.
• Direct the enterprise networking function to provide resilient, secure and high‑performance connectivity.
• Administer Windows and Linux platforms, including patching, performance tuning and support for containerised workloads.
• Lead the IT Service Desk, driving incident and request management, SLA compliance and a high‑quality end‑user experience.
• Act as technical escalation point, manage vendors and service providers, define SLAs and oversee delivery of infrastructure projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• Proven experience leading IT infrastructure, cloud and service‑desk teams.
• Strong understanding of IT governance, budgeting (OPEX/CAPEX) and vendor management.
• Ability to work in an office environment with occasional site visits.
