Technical Manager – Infrastructure, PAM, Firewall & GRC

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Technical Manager to lead infrastructure, privileged access management, firewall administration, and governance, risk & compliance (GRC) initiatives for a leading banking client in Oman. The role requires end‑to‑end ownership of security and compliance controls in a highly regulated environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain enterprise firewall policies and network security controls.
• Oversee IT infrastructure operations, ensuring availability, resilience and regulatory compliance.
• Lead the deployment, configuration and administration of Privileged Access Management (PAM) solutions.
• Develop and manage a comprehensive GRC framework, including risk assessments, control testing, policy governance and audit remediation.
• Implement GRC tools and automation platforms, and produce dashboards, risk reports and executive presentations.
• Coordinate with auditors, regulators and internal stakeholders to ensure adherence to banking standards.
• Drive disaster recovery, business continuity, patch and vulnerability management initiatives.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 + years of experience in firewall rule design and management within the banking sector.
• Proven track record implementing and administering PAM solutions.
• Deep understanding of GRC lifecycle, frameworks and regulatory requirements for financial services.
• Hands‑on experience with IT infrastructure, DR/BCP, patching and vulnerability management.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
