Training Specialist

About the role

The Training Specialist will support the planning, coordination and administration of training and learning programmes for both clients and internal employees. This role ensures smooth logistics, effective communication with participants and trainers, and accurate record‑keeping throughout the training lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Support the planning and coordination of training programmes from initiation through completion.
• Maintain the training calendar, schedule programmes, and manage participant nominations, registrations and confirmations.
• Send training invitations, joining instructions and programme‑related communications.
• Maintain accurate participant and attendance records and follow up on attendance requirements.
• Coordinate with internal and external trainers, share schedules, participant profiles and logistical information, and collect trainer feedback.
• Arrange training venues, meeting rooms, refreshments, equipment and virtual session links.
• Prepare training rooms and materials, including printing participant handouts, name badges, attendance sheets, certificates and feedback forms.
• Organise and maintain electronic and physical training files, manuals, workbooks and programme documentation.
• Respond to participant queries, communicate schedules and requirements, and provide professional customer service to clients.
• Distribute and collect post‑training evaluation forms, maintain evaluation records and assist in preparing basic evaluation reports.
• Update training databases, learning records and track attendance and completion information.
