Airport Driver

About the role

Oman Air is seeking a reliable driver to support airport ground operations in Muscat. The role involves moving vehicles and equipment safely on the ramp, assisting with aircraft wash, and providing logistics support as required.

Key responsibilities

• Position manpower vehicles to and from aircraft under the direction of the Manager Engineering Operations or Supervisor.
• Clear vehicles from the ramp and bay areas after use and park them in designated areas.
• Provide cleaning materials and assist with aircraft wash in the wash bay.
• Transport laundry and other cargo between designated locations.
• Perform daily fluid, oil, and physical condition checks on all vehicles.
• Refuel vehicles as needed and deliver them to the GSE workshop for scheduled or unscheduled maintenance.
• Adhere to airport authority rules, company procedures, and ramp safety regulations.
• Carry out additional logistics tasks assigned by the reporting head.

Required profile

• Secondary school education with at least 2 years of driving experience, or less than secondary school with 4 years of relevant experience.
• Valid Apron Driving Permit (ADP).
• Ability to follow safety protocols and company procedures.
