Assistant Manager Workforce Operations

About the role

Talabat is seeking an Assistant Manager to lead workforce operations across its Local Shops ecosystem. The role focuses on driving operational excellence, vendor compliance, and cost efficiency while supporting a high‑performance culture.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end operational performance across the Local Shops ecosystem, ensuring vendor compliance, store fulfillment and assortment quality.
• Drive day‑to‑day execution of ground operations, workforce optimization and cross‑functional alignment with Logistics, Commercial, Campaigns and Marketing teams.
• Own Shopper Cost (CPO) efficiency by optimizing staffing, scheduling, productivity and workload distribution to improve cost per order while maintaining service quality.
• Oversee assortment governance, including SKU onboarding, promo and price parity, data accuracy and stock‑feed reliability.
• Monitor vendor performance, enforce compliance rules, prevent fraud and protect business performance and customer experience.
• Improve store fulfillment and preparation efficiency by streamlining picking, packing, checkout and dispatch workflows.

Required profile

• Proven experience in operations management within a fast‑paced e‑commerce or on‑demand delivery environment.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to use data to drive continuous improvement.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills to coordinate with logistics, commercial and marketing functions.
• Ability to lead and develop high‑performing teams.
