Audit Supervisor – FY27 (Oman)

About the role

KPMG is seeking an Audit Supervisor for FY27 to lead audit engagements for medium and large clients in Oman. You will drive the audit plan, reduce client risk, and support revenue growth through rigorous audit methodologies.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute audit engagements, allocating work to audit assistants.
• Coach and mentor junior staff throughout the audit process.
• Prepare financial statements, transmittal letters, and other deliverables.
• Keep managers and partners informed of progress and issues.
• Obtain partner and manager reviews, complete documentation, and follow up on outstanding information.
• Analyze audit costs, prepare fee note requisitions, and manage debtor collections.
• Maintain strong relationships with client financial management teams.
• Attend and follow up on stock counts.

Required profile

• B.Sc. in Accounting or equivalent.
• Professional accounting qualification (ACCA, CPA) or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of audit experience, including at least 2 years post‑qualification.
• Experience with clients in real estate, construction, oil & gas sectors.
• Thorough knowledge of IFRS and ISA standards.
