Automated Operations Engineer – 1st Level Telecom Managed Services

About the role

We are seeking an Automated Operations Engineer to join our 1st Level Operations team within a Telecom Managed Services environment in Oman. The role focuses on monitoring, troubleshooting, and automating network operations to ensure high service availability.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor real‑time alarms and performance metrics 24/7 and perform first‑line analysis and restoration.
• Detect, classify, and accurately escalate network incidents according to the escalation matrix.
• Manage alarm surveillance, trouble‑ticket handling, change management, and front‑office activities as defined by shift leaders.
• Coordinate with customer care, delivery units, suppliers, and partners to resolve issues and maintain service levels.
• Perform remote corrective and preventive maintenance, and generate trouble reports.

Required profile

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunication Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent.
• 2‑4 years of experience in operation & maintenance, fault and performance management.
• Proficient English communication skills.
• Experience with UOC OSS tools and multi‑vendor network environments.
