Barista – Full‑time

About the role

The Barista will be responsible for delivering high‑quality coffee and beverage service in a busy hotel environment. You will handle opening and closing duties, operate the POS system, and ensure a clean, welcoming atmosphere for all guests.

Key responsibilities

• Perform opening and closing tasks, including setting up supplies, cleaning equipment, and securing the premises.
• Take guest orders, enter them into the MICROS POS system, prepare coffee and food items, and process payments.
• Maintain workstations, stock inventory, and keep the coffee cart and dining areas tidy throughout the shift.
• Handle cash, reconcile registers at shift end, and complete cashier reports.
• Follow all safety, security, and company policies, and report any incidents promptly.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• No prior work experience required.
• Ability to stand, walk, lift up to 25 lb, and work in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the MICROS POS system.
• Cash register operation and basic cash handling.
• Operation of coffee‑making equipment and related appliances.
