Bartender

About the role

The Bartender will join the Food & Beverage team at Sheraton Muscat, delivering high‑quality beverage service to guests. This full‑time, onsite position requires preparing drinks to recipe standards, maintaining a clean bar environment, and providing friendly, professional service.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare drink orders using precise measuring systems and create fresh garnishes.
• Open, serve, and manage wine and champagne bottles, and stock ice, glassware, and paper supplies.
• Transport supplies to the bar set‑up area, wash and store glassware, and keep the bar and tables clean.
• Process all payment methods, count the cash drawer at shift end, and complete cashier reports.
• Secure liquor, beer, wine, and storage areas, and perform closing duties.
• Follow company safety, security, and uniform policies while maintaining confidentiality of proprietary information.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• At least one year of related bar or beverage service experience.
• Professional appearance and clear, courteous communication with guests and team members.

Required skills

• Ability to read and verify information in various formats, including small print.
• Physical capability to lift, carry, and move objects up to 50 lb without assistance.
