Boiler Technician

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Boiler Technician to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial steam boilers and related equipment. The role involves ensuring reliable boiler operation and supporting operators during equipment issues.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on boilers, burners, pumps, valves, and piping.
• Troubleshoot boiler and burner faults and respond to emergency breakdowns.
• Maintain feedwater, condensate, blowdown, and steam‑distribution systems.
• Inspect safety devices, gauges, strainers, and mechanical components.
• Assist with boiler start‑up and shutdown and support operators during problems.
• Maintain service records.

Required profile

• Diploma or technical qualification in Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Maintenance.
• Minimum 5 years of industrial boiler‑maintenance experience.
• Strong knowledge of steam boilers, burners, pumps, valves, and safety devices.
• Experience with water‑treatment and steam‑distribution systems.
• Ability to perform repairs independently.
